The secret to sharing short URL analytics – your “data password”.

Most URL shorteners such as and allow you to track anyone’s URL by adding .info to the end of it. For instance:

With your analytics data stays private. You can set up your own data password in the dashboard, which will allow you to access the stats for each short URL by adding the password to the end of the URL. That means you can check your data without logging in to your account. You can also share this password with work partners to let them take a look at your analytics data.

Let’s say your data password is “love”. By adding “.love” to the end of one of your short URLs, you or anybody else with the password will be able to see that page’s analytics data.
